After seeing Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981, three 12 yr. old friends began filming an adaptation shot for shot in their backyards in Mississippi. They filmed it bit by bit over the next seven years. Keep in mind- no VCR's. They did the entire thing on memory...with the official Raiders comic book, of course! Ha. The entire film was screened at the Hollywood Theater in Portland awhile ago and it is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. This is the the first 10 minutes to give you a taste. Really an amazing feat. I would LOVE for these guys to have an opportunity to do another screening tour (hint, hint Mr. Spielberg). I'd jump at another chance to see this with a group on the big screen!
